Overview
Surfweathercheat is a new weather app delivery app with the goal to offer surfers a seamless and all-in-one experience, simplifying access to essential information for an enhanced surfing journey.
Challenge
Currently, surfers lack an app that consolidates comprehensive information on weather and waves. They often waste valuable time navigating through multiple apps, looking for the best option, detracting from the actual enjoyment of their surfing experience.
My solution
SurfWeather aims to change that by providing a one-stop solution for surfers, streamlining access to essential information on weather and waves based on their chosen location or city. Elevating the user experience, our app personalizes the information by asking simple questions, ensuring that users receive tailored details according to their individual preferences.

To gain in-depth knowledge of the industry’s needs, I conducted a survey among different individuals, which also led to a greater understanding of the pain points in the field.30 people responded.

Brett is a busy individual juggling work and studies. During his free time, he indulges in his love for surfing, relying on weather apps to check the current weather conditions.
Pain points
-Brett, a busy individual,he struggles with time as he needs to check the weather and waves for his city and nearby locations across different apps.
-Due to his time constraints, Brett sometimes heads to the nearby beach without exploring better options, resulting in a less enjoyable surfing experience.
Goals
– Having the opportunity to swiftly and easily check both weather and waves in just one app.
– Having the convenience of an app that understands his preferences without requiring him to check through various options.
